Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion has been compared to a "fine sandblaster" for the skin. It is a non-invasive, skin freshening technique that gently sprays fine crystals across the skin to remove and suction away the outer most layer of skin. As the skin is exfoliated, impurities and minor skin damage due to aging, the sun and other factors are also gently removed. The process, which is essentially painless, also stimulates the skin to form new collagen giving it a more youthful and revitalized appearance. Typically, microdermabrasion takes more than one treatment to show maximum results. Treatments are done in our office and generally take about thirty minutes.
